Why Knowing Your History Matters
When my daughter asked me why knowing your history matters, my answer came naturally. “It answers a lot of questions that we have today. If you know the background, the why, the how, the when, it gives you more power for today and the future.” The systems, the traditions, the habits, the strengths, even the pain all have roots. So much of what we experience today did not start with us. The struggles and the stereotypes, the resilience, the and the excellence. None of it exist
